While Andrea enjoys a picnic party hosted by the Governor for the whole town of Woodbury, Michonne breaks into his house to retrieve the sword that he took from her and used as a personal display. Hidden in his room, Michonne overhears the Governor, his assistant, Milton, and Merle which later leaves her to find a half-dozen walkers kept in captivity. She ends up slaying all of them, and even after the Governor find out about what she did, he still insists that she stays in Woodbury. She responds by threatening the Governor with her recovered sword. Almost packed and ready to leave, Andrea tells Michonne that she isn’t ready to go back to the dreaded and dangerous lifestyle outside the town’s walls. Failing to convince Michonne to stay, Michonne leaves the encampment alone. However, later that night Andrea is disturbed by the Governor’s use of captive walkers being used in morale boosting fights between prisoners and walkers.
At the prison, Rick and the others continue to grieve their losses. Rick goes out to clear out the perimeter while Daryl and Maggie set out to scavenge for baby formula in a nearby town. They obtain the formula, but later that night the group dig graves for their deceased brethren. The episode nears its end as Rick, still shell-shocked by Lori’s death, mourns her in the room where she died. Suddenly, an old telephone rings and awakens him from the shock. He picks up the call and the episode ends.
